100 Barrington Road is a genuinely special venue in Brixton - industrial in structure, warm and characterful in feel. It's the kind of space that gives couples a blank canvas to make completely their own, and it translates beautifully on film.
Shannon and Alex's wedding here was everything a natural wedding film should be. The energy in the room from the ceremony through to the speeches and dancing was extraordinary - and none of it was manufactured. It was just them.
What it's like filming at 100 Barrington Road
The venue has excellent natural light from large windows and a layout that allows me to move between spaces quietly without losing the atmosphere. The ceremony space, the reception and the dancefloor all work brilliantly on camera.
The speeches at 100 Barrington have excellent acoustics - which matters a lot to me. I always make sure the speeches are recorded cleanly, because they're often the emotional heart of the whole film.
