Shannon and Alex wedding film at 100 Barrington in London by Steer Media

A wedding film that
feels like you.

As a wedding videographer, I create natural, cinematic wedding films for couples who want their day captured honestly – full of real emotion, energy and atmosphere.

Instead of taking over the day, I blend into the background, keep things relaxed and focus on the real moments that make your story unforgettable.

As a result, you get a film you’ll return to year after year, bringing back the atmosphere, energy and emotion of the day every single time.

James from Steer Media wedding videographer filming a wedding

Hello!
I'm James

I’m a wedding videographer based in Leigh-on-Sea, creating natural, cinematic wedding films for couples across the UK and beyond.

On the day, my approach is calm and unobtrusive. I want you to feel fully present with your guests while I quietly capture the moments you saw, the ones you missed and the feeling of it all.

Whether your wedding is relaxed and intimate or full of energy from start to finish, I’ll create a film that feels honest, emotional and true to you.

Wedding Videographer FAQs

What should we include in our enquiry?

The most helpful things to include are your wedding date, venue or location, and a little about the kind of day you’re planning. You don’t need to have every detail finalised — just enough for me to check availability and understand what you’re looking for.

How do we check if you’re available for our date?

You can use the enquiry form to send your wedding date, venue and a little about your plans. Then, I’ll get back to you with availability and the next steps.

Can we enquire if our wedding is at short notice?

Yes. Booking early is always best because I only take on a limited number of weddings each year. However, I do sometimes have availability at shorter notice, so it’s still worth getting in touch.

How far in advance should we book our wedding videographer?

I only take on a limited number of weddings each year, so it’s always best to get in touch as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed. However, I do sometimes have availability at shorter notice, so it’s always worth enquiring even if your wedding is coming up soon.

How far do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I’m based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, and film weddings across Essex, London, Surrey, Kent, Suffolk, Norfolk and the rest of the UK. I’m also happy to travel further for destination weddings, so whether your day is close to home or further away, I’d love to hear about your plans.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 50% booking fee is required to secure your wedding date, with the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to the wedding.

Once everything feels like the right fit, I’ll send over the booking details and payment schedule clearly, so you know exactly what is due and when.
