Gate Street Barn near Bramley is the Surrey Hills at their best - a beautifully restored barn in a fold of countryside, with courtyards, meadows and light that turns golden early in the evening.
Barns in hill country give a film something flat-county venues can't: elevation, layers and backgrounds that recede for miles.
