Filming a wedding at Wild by Tart
Wild by Tart in Victoria is a former Edwardian power station turned restaurant and event space - exposed brick, soaring ceilings, serious food, and exclusive hire for couples whose wedding is above all a great dinner.
Food-first weddings deserve food-first films. I cover the kitchen, the plates and the service with the same care as the vows - because here, they're part of the love story.
Honest note: I haven't filmed a wedding at Wild by Tart yet - this guide is written for couples planning one there. Before any new venue I scout in person or arrive early on the day, walking the ceremony and reception spaces and planning shots around the light, so nothing is left to chance.
How I'd film your day here
- Industrial brick and steel under warm restaurant lighting give a rich, contemporary look straight out of camera.
- The mezzanine provides elevated wides over dinner and dancing without intruding.
- Chef and pass coverage, cut into the dinner sequence, makes the film taste of the day.
Central London location precludes drone work - the interiors carry the film.
Not yet - consider this a planning guide. Before any new venue I visit or arrive early on the day to scout ceremony sightlines, light and sound, so the coverage is planned rather than improvised.
