The Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green is East London's art-deco civic landmark turned boutique hotel - marble staircases, a domed council chamber and interiors made for editorial film.
Art-deco lines and natural light are a documentary filmmaker's dream: the building composes the frame, the day provides the story.
