Filming a wedding at That Amazing Place
That Amazing Place in Harlow is a boutique Tudor manor house that couples take over completely - intimate, characterful and built around smaller guest lists that actually know each other.
Intimate weddings make some of the best films. Every guest matters, every speech lands, and the camera can stay close without ever feeling crowded.
Honest note: I haven't filmed a wedding at That Amazing Place yet - this guide is written for couples planning one there. Before any new venue I scout in person or arrive early on the day, walking the ceremony and reception spaces and planning shots around the light, so nothing is left to chance.
How I'd film your day here
- Smaller rooms mean I work with compact kit and available light to stay invisible.
- The gardens give breathing space and clean backdrops between the day's chapters.
- With fewer guests, reaction shots carry more weight - I cover the room as much as the couple.
Absolutely - they're often my favourite films to make. The coverage approach is the same; the intimacy just makes it richer.
Not yet - this guide is for couples planning a wedding there. I scout every new venue in advance so the day runs on a plan, not improvisation.
