Filming a wedding at Northbrook Park

Northbrook Park pairs a Georgian house and orangery with 120 acres of parkland on the Surrey - Hampshire border - vines, lawns and space that gives a wedding day real room to breathe.

The orangery is the star for a filmmaker: glass, light and greenery meaning ceremonies and speeches film beautifully with no extra kit at all.

Honest note: I haven't filmed a wedding at Northbrook Park yet - this guide is written for couples planning one there. Before any new venue I scout in person or arrive early on the day, walking the ceremony and reception spaces and planning shots around the light, so nothing is left to chance.

How I'd film your day here

  • Orangery ceremonies are flooded with natural light - soft, even and flattering.
  • The vine walk and parkland give layered backdrops for couple portraits.
  • Wide lawns handle big confetti moments and group energy without crowding.
It's the best light there is - soft, natural and everywhere. Orangery venues consistently produce my favourite ceremony footage.
Not yet - this guide is for couples planning a wedding there.
