East Mersea Hall sits at the quiet end of Mersea Island, and Lucy and Rob's summer wedding there was a woodland ceremony first and foremost - dappled light, birch trunks, a walk back down the aisle that turned into pure celebration.

This is the kind of day my style is built for. Nobody was performing for a camera; the moments simply happened, and I was in the right place for them - the look between them at the top of the aisle, the roar as they walked back through their people, the quiet of the island afterwards.
